www.lanaiart.orgThe Lana'i Art Center was founded in 1991. It is the only multi-purpose community arts program on the island. The Lana'i Art Center is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing arts and cultural experiences for all residents and visitors through ongoing classes, workshops, and studio access.

We are a community-supported program and rely on the generous donations of visitors to the center, membership fees, and proceeds from the gift shop. Please help support our on-going efforts to help foster a creative outlet for budding and mature artists alike by donating now, visiting the gift shop, or becoming a member.

Pineapple Festival is almost here!
Looking for something different to do at the Pineapple Festival? Head across the street to the Art Center and draw or paint a Lanai scene. All materials are supplied for you to create and walk away with your own masterpiece! Art instructor Lisa Galloway will help you choose a small art project you can do with ease! Just pick your favorite Lanai scene (beach, forest, desert or town photos provided) and get as much help as you want to color it, draw it, or paint it using colored pencils, pastels or acrylics on canvasboard or paper!

Hello all Young Artists and Parents. Thank you for taking a break from ART. We are now ready to get into some creative work at Mommy and Me. Please join us Monday, June 27, 10 AM. And let us know if you would like to meet on July 4? We can meet again on July 11. Please keep in touch, as our summer schedule shifts with each week and your interest.

Mahalo Lana`i!

Our Rummage Sale and Car Auction was a great success thanks to all who came by. We truly appreciate your generous support. From $1 purchases of clothing articles to over $1000 for Penn reels (when can I go fishing?), it all helps to raise funds to defray operational expenses and support our various programs such as Art in the School and Kids Art Class. And congratulations to Cathy Brindo, the high bidder on the Jeep Cherokee so generously donated by one of our Lana`i residents. Cathy will be driving around town in style.
This event would not have been possible without the seemingly endless hours of organization and support put in by our intrepid members and volunteers. Mahalo nui loa to you all!

Calling all crafters! We are always on the lookout for folks that would like to share their hidden talents. Here's your chance to strut your stuff and possibly earn a little spending cash while you're at it. Remember, the Lanai Art Center is YOUR art center. Drop in, look around, and discuss the possibilities.
