The Lana’i Art Center is our modest effort to bring the possibilities of artistic creation to people who would not ordinarily have those opportunities. Whether it’s a six year old whose mom works, and who would find an empty house and silent rooms after school were it not for a children’s art class; a woman who plays with the resilience of clay and the glow of glazes, and sees a vessel take shape in her hands on a potters wheel; or a man who watches an inert block of wood turn into a bowl of beauty beneath his lathe; the Art Center seeks to bring the experience and the pleasure of art to everyone who might be interested.
We are a community-supported program and rely on the generous donations of visitors to the center, membership fees, and proceeds from the gift shop. Please help support our on-going efforts to help foster a creative outlet for budding and mature artists alike by donating now, visiting the gift shop, or becoming a member.
