Created & produced by the Lana`i Art Center in cooperation with the County of Maui - Office of Economic Development, the Hawaiian Tourism Authority and Castle & Cooke Resorts, LLC and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts

THURSDAY, MAY 3
Science Fiction
STAR WARS - REVENGE OF THE SITH

The Lucas saga comes full circle in more ways than one in “Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith”, a return to the classic space opera style that launched the series. Widely regarded as the best of the Star Wars series for special effects, it also signalled a return to a tight plotting for George Lucas.

THURSDAY, JUNE 7
Adventure
PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN - THE BLACK PEARL

Funny, fast-paced, the ultimate pirate movie with seamless special effects. Johnny Depp says Capt. Jack Sparrow is a cross between Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards and Warner Brothers cartoon character Pepe Le Pew! A great movie on the big screen! If you joined us last summer for Erroll Flynn in Robin Hood, you won't want to miss this one.

THURSDAY, JULY 5
Kid's Night
THE BLACK STALLION

A young boy and an Arabian horse are the only survivors of a shipwreck and develop a deep affection for each other. Beautifully photographed, a wonderful story of a boy and a magnificent horse, with Mickey Rooney reviving his career as the retired horse trainer. A must for kids and adults.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 2
Comedy
ROXANNE

Steve Martin's brilliant modern retelling of "Cyrano de Bergerac" is a funny and clever adaptation for the modern age. The romantic triangle in this case is between a big-nosed (and we mean BIG) small town fire chief, a shy fireman and the lovely astronomer they both love. In spite of the nose, Martin gives a sensitive, real performance; worth it alone for the bar scene where he gets back at a heckler.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 6
Classic Drama
NORTH BY NORTHWEST

The movie where Cary Grant and Eva Marie-Saint dangle from the faces of Mount Rushmore and a plane attacks Grant in a corn field. One of Hitchcock's greatest-paced plots with excellent photography, and exceptional performances, especially Grant's. Plenty of plot twists with the master filmmaker's usual tongue-in-cheek humor. A true classic, great on the big screen.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 6
